The DARCHE® Air-Volution 900 & 1100

We have used these swag for over 12mths, through every condition Mother Nature has given us.

We went with the air over poles with the thinking it would be easier for the kids to set them up themselves. Yes they are easy to set up and put down but trying to roll them up to put back in the bags is a slight struggle for our younger kids.

We found the 900 has held up much better than the 1100, as being bigger in width the weight of the canvas when wet is too heavy and sags in the middle. Which allows water to get in.

The canvas quality is great. The mattresses are soft enough to use on their own, which is quick if you are only stopping over night. We do use stretchers to add a little more comfort.

Would we buy them again?

Yes and No. The 900 definitely, maybe not the 1100. (only because ours has leaked several times with rain)

Companion Aqua Cube Shower Stand

How bloody awesome are these shower stands.

Supper easy to use, just plug in your water supply and away you go.

We have used ours with a few different water methods. From heat exchangers to gas hot water. As long as you have min of 6lt per min pump the pressure from this shower head is sufficient.

With being height adjustable everyone is covered. The easy on off switch is along the side of the pole, so no more waiting for someone to turn on the water for you.

Just bear in mind lay it flat if it gets windy. We have lost a couple from falling over and breaking the joiner attachment. ( if this was metal it would be fantastic)

Would we buy again?

Most definitely, best shower we have found so far.

Foodsaver Cut & Seal Vacuum Sealer

Another honest review.

We have used various brands of vacuum sealers cheap and more expensive.

This vacuum food saver is well thought out with the inbuilt roll holder and cutter. Making food packing easier. It also comes with a hand held adapter for use with compatible containers and bags sold separately.

This machine is far from something  we would recommend. The vacuum doesn’t suck all the air out, and the sealer doesn’t seal the whole way along the bag.

It was a big disappointment with the  price at $199.

Save your money and get a Kings one for $70 as these are just as good if not better.

We’ve tried several types of vacuum sealers, both low-cost and pricey choices. This food saver features a thoughtful design, including a roll holder and cutter, which simplifies the task of packing food. It also comes with a handheld adapter for compatible containers and bags, which need to be bought separately.

However, we cannot recommend this machine. It struggles to remove all the air, and the sealing process does not cover the entire width of the bag. This experience was quite disappointing, especially given the high price of $199.

If you're considering a vacuum sealer, it’s wiser to spend less money. A Kings model, priced around $70, performs just as well, if not better. You’ll save a significant amount while still getting a reliable product that meets your needs.
